teaching artistry and education

As the Education Apprentice at Trinity Repertory Company, I taught students from kindergarten to adulthood. I'm especially passionate about teaching devising through movement and sound, and theatre-making where students write the play and act and direct it. I have also taught scene study, monologue study classes, and voice. I also taught residencies at schools, either specifically about the plays on our stages, or independent classes. I taught the Trinity Rep Youth Company a workshop on music directing and theatrical sound. I also assisted with the Trinity Rep Active Imagination Network, or TRAIN, which is a class for children and adults on the autism spectrum, with cognitive and psychiatric disabilities, and other needs. our play in the fall of 2023 was Troll in One, which I wrote and co-directed. I'm currently adapting The Birds by Aristophanes for TRAIN this semester. While at the University of Oxford, I led workshops on Cassandra in the Agamemnon (which you can read more about on the dramaturgy page) and taught through practice-as-research. â€‹
